Nice recipes to try

As someone managing diabetes who loves cooking, this cookbook has been a good find.I appreciate the clear bullet-pointed food recommendations—they make meal planning so much easier. But what I really love are the recipes themselves. They're packed with interesting ingredients, spices, and herbs that make every meal flavorful and exciting, not bland or boring. The recipes are easy to follow, all the ingredients and measurements work perfectly for my kitchen.

Excellent recipes with full color pictures

This beginner-friendly diabetic cookbook is a practical guide for balancing blood sugar without sacrificing flavor. I chose this book because I'm extremely mindful of my sugar intake due to diabetes in my family. This book focuses on low-carb recipes. They are simple (while some have many ingredients) and the full color pictures to accompany each recipe are very appealing.I think the 5-week meal plan and weekly shopping lists are both helpful. Each recipe includes nutrition facts, which makes tracking carbs and calories easy. I haven't tried monk fruit sweetener yet, but I'm going to because I need to try the Diabetic-Friendly Brownie recipe first. The Australian-friendly ingredients and measurements are a bonus for a lot of countries, (if you’ve struggled with US-based cookbooks). The included conversion charts will be helpful if needed. There's also a printable success journal and meal tracker. Overall, this book has sound advice and solid recipes. I think it's a great choice for anyone managing type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, or just wanting balanced, lower-carb meals. Five stars.
