This book is a great help if you plan to visit Athens.
I liked that it doesn’t just list tourist spots but also shares local favorites, which makes the trip feel more authentic. The guide is easy to read, with clear tips and ideas for where to go, eat, and walk around. It feels like having a local friend showing you the city.
Felt like exploring Athens with a local friend
This guide was such a joy to read and use! The walking routes are well thought out, blending the famous sites with little corners I would never have discovered on my own. The author’s stories and historical insights made me feel truly connected to the city instead of just being a tourist. If you want to experience Athens with warmth and context—not just lists of places—this book is perfect.
A great three day guide with map links
If you have three days to visit and sight see Athens then this is a great guide book as it breaks down an itinerary for you over the three days covering all the best bit of the city that you dont want to miss out on. I love the links to Google Maps so if you have the Kindle version you can just click on these and the pins drop straight onto your map which is super handy. Well written with some good pics as well.
