Book Description
Your baby won't come with a manual... But luckily for you, there's another way to make sure you're prepared. Your journey starts right here. Look, nobody feels ready to be a dad. That's normal. But walking into fatherhood clueless? That's optional. Whether this baby was carefully planned or a surprise worthy of a Netflix plot twist, one thing’s for sure Dad life is coming in hot. And unlike your day job, there’s no training manual, no clocking out, and no HR department to whine to when things get messy (spoiler alert: things will get messy). This "Role" the most important role you’ll ever have doesn't come with a handbook, but that doesn't mean you have to wing it. You can make sure you know what to expect and how to approach all the new tasks ahead of you; This is the playbook every new dad deserves - clear, straightforward, and actually fun to read (because you’ve got enough boring stuff to wade through already). Get ready to step up, show up, and crush dad life from day one. Inside, you’ll discover: Answer those burning questions and manage your fears (and any other complicated emotion you’re battling with) - What you can do to take care of your partner before your baby’s born (and exactly what to expect from her pregnancy) - A complete guide to pre-baby prep (you’ll still have to get that nursery ready, but now you’ll know what to prioritize & when) - What to do (and not do!) in the birthing room and what no one tells you about the first time you see your baby - How to navigate the first few days at home (including how to build a solid routine when everything feels new and intimidating) - Home safety essentials have you thought of everything you’re going to need to make childproof? - How to protect and prioritize the health of your child from Day 1 (think feeding and key developmental activities) - The fast-paced chapters you can expect within the first year alone and how to navigate them with confidence - The art of excelling at work at the same time as being an excellent father and spending quality time with your family (what is a babymoon?) - Real-life stories from dads who’ve walked the road before you and who better to take advice from? - 50+ bonus dad hacks every seasoned father wishes they’d known And much more. Think you can just wing fatherhood? Sure, you could, but why not show up ready to crush it? This isn’t some boring baby manual. It’s a real-world Dad Achievement Guide packed with straight-up advice, dad hacks, and everything you actually need to know before game day (aka delivery day). Fatherhood is an adventure wild, messy, unforgettable. And like any great adventure it helps to have a plan.

Helpful Advice
This book is helpful for first time dad. It has lots of information and encouragement. It doesn't just focus on baby care but also on communication, patience, and confidence. Great read for dad who wants to be more involved and ready for parenthood.
Not too bad
It's not a bad book at all, though it is big blocks of text, which would overwhelm an already overwhelmed new father or father-to-be. There aren't many lists, and the ones there are mostly generic information. It reads more like a lecture than a book to match the cover (which looks fun and enticing). Hell, it overwhelms me as a woman and mother of 2 :D I like that there is a section about setting up a nursery (which isn't in most books), and the list of essentials to have for baby. I also like that there's a budgeting section to really take certain things into account. No one realizes just how much we spend on diapers and wipes! And YES to the delivery room dos and don'ts. There is also a section about what to expect when first seeing your baby. New parents don't realize a newborn is a fuzzy, bloody little thing.A lot of it felt generic and could have gone into more detail, probably with funny examples, but it was good enough after the first 20% or so. Probably better than many books available out there. Don't quite reach some of the top ones, but a nice reference reading to keep by your bedside.
