tiny victories matter.

Such a sweet and helpful book for parents of picky eaters. The illustrations are adorable and the tone feels warm, encouraging, and totally judgement-free. I loved the idea of letting kids explore food through play instead of turning dinner into a battle. This book made our kitchen feel calmer, more creative, and a lot more fun.

boasts support, understanding and a lovely relief

A book that makes sense for our child. When I read Say Yumm. it was as if a burden had been lifted from my heart. The author speaks about the difficulties so many parents experience when they have children with sensory needs with caring, warmth and understanding. The book does not demand that a child retrain themselves but in fact help to build trust in food through play, music and creativity together. My son loves the sensory activities and the happy song about food, and as a result, our family dinners are far more relaxed. This book boasts support, understanding and a lovely relief for the whole family.

Help for your sensory / fussy eater

If your children are fussy eaters this book could help as it explains this could be caused by sensory issues (such as overload). The book is written from the experiences of the author and is targeted as a means to help children with sensory issues although some of the techniques could help any child who is just a fussy eater. Well written with lots of nice illustrations.
