Not Just For Baseball Fans
Even if you're not the biggest baseball fan, this is still a cool read. The stories are about effort, confidence, and not giving up. I really liked that it had more than just names and stats. The artwork was also really eye-catching. Feels like something you’d keep on the shelf and return to often.
A very interesting book
A very interesting book that tells about athletes that America is proud off. But what struck me most was the illustrations, they are very expressive truly convey the character of the person. Good luck to the author in writing new books!
Light and engaging read
"We’ve tried a few different sports with my kids, but nothing has really stuck so far. I thought starting with a book might be a fun way to spark their interest in baseball and this one was a good pick. It has a mix of cool stories, fun trivia, and memorable players that gave them a feel for the sport without being too overwhelming. It’s a light and engaging read, and I’m hopeful it’s a step toward getting them more excited about the game."
