an important message

I love the idea of the kindness super hero and the kindness club. As this sweet, age-appropriate story points out, there are opportunities for us to show kindness all around, and that kindness, not only helps the recipient but also improves our own happiness. I did think that the word font was a bit difficult to read--especially for young kids--and I couldn't figure out why some of the words and phrases were highlighted. But overall, it contains an important message for all of us, which makes this an important book.

A Heartwarming Story About Kindness for Children

Leo And The Kindness Club is a lovely and meaningful children’s book that teaches the importance of kindness, empathy, and helping others simply and engagingly. The story is easy to follow and perfectly suited for young readers, while the illustrations are colorful and inviting. It encourages positive behavior and emotional awareness without coming across as preachy. I highly recommend this book to parents, teachers, and anyone looking for a gentle story that promotes good values. A wonderful read and definitely deserving of five stars.

My little girl loved this one.

Leo And The Kindness Club is a marvelous little story. I haven't heard about other works from Susan Zhang, but i think i will start looking. The story is quite simple, but not boring. Leo wakes up one day and decides he wants to be a superhero. Then , he spends the day helping quite a lot of people and forms a Kindness Club. The beauty of the story lies in this simplicity. The several acts of kindness shown here cover a nice range of situations, and they never feel forced. At the end, the lessons are crystal clear for the reader. The art is pretty, without being stellar. It is detailed enough for the purpose of the story, but i missed a little more personality on it. Anyway, my girl loved it, and that is enough for me.This is a safe option for any kid, and any father wanting to give a lesson on kindness. If this is your case, give this one a go.
