A DECADE YOU CAN'T FORGET!

This is a fabulous word search book, particularly if you grew up during the 60's. There are 2,100 words in this book that I haven't said or heard for many, many years. Just seeing some of them on the page recalls a flood of memories. Who today calls money "bread" or clothing "threads?" When was the last time you thought of Strom Thurmond or John Havlicek? This book brings it all back.The puzzles are a fun challenge. The 21 words for each puzzle create a dense criss-cross of solutions on the page. I have a real feeling of achievement each time I complete a puzzle. The letters are not difficult to read--the large font is clear to the eye.I would especially recommend PAST TIMES 60's WORD SEARCH to all baby boomers who enjoy doing word search puzzles. This book is far out and will help you lay back and hang loose. So split the uptight scene, get this book, and spend some groovy time with your past. You dig?

Excellent, large font

The media could not be loaded. We purchased this book as a birthday gift for my mother-in-law. She has mobility issues, so enjoys word searches a lot in her quiet time. I like this one for several reasons. First, the large print obviously. This is great for seniors. Second, there are fun trivia questions on each page. Third, it's very inclusive - for example see puzzle 68. There are "influential people" of all races, both male and female. Finally, there are answer keys in the back for all the puzzles and trivia questions. Overall, this is a solid word search book! It makes a great gift!!I write detailed, honest reviews to help others make informed purchases. Since I rely on reviews, too, I appreciate how helpful they can be in my purchasing decisions. Perfect for a relaxing day off

This is a wonderful large-print puzzle book with so many fun and nostalgic word searches and trivia from the 60s. There are plenty of pages to stay entertained for hours, making it perfect for a relaxing day off. Easy to read, enjoyable, and full of lovely retro memories!
