Love to life

The incredible revelation to me is the Low Cholesterol Cookbook & 30 Day Meal Plan. The recipes are delicious and not out of this world which means the exotic ingredients must be sought after. They do not exist. They all can be found at the nearby supermarket. The 30 day plan takes the guess work out. You just go step by step in the plan and the results work approximately like this. After one month my blood cholesterol is improved. The most important factor is I feel alive again, lighter and calm. The informative nature of the book regarding food combination and the effects of fiber and fat and protein is established. Even the family got in on the act and we are now cooking on weekends from the cookbook.

A plan for a daily life

I was looking for a way to alter my diet without miracles in the kitchen, and this book was just the answer. Simple recipes using common ingredients and a 30-day regimen with weekly lists eliminated the problem of "what to cook." In two or three weeks, I was able in a systematic way to reduce saturated fat, add fiber and control my portions without feeling I was on a "strictly-regulated" diet. It is a workable scheme which can be followed with ease in daily life.

I purchased the Low Cholesterol Diet Cookbook & 30-Day Meal Plan when my doctor told me it was time to take a more serious approach to lowering my cholesterol. I expected boring salads and tasteless food, and this book proved me wrong. The recipes are good, and the ingredients are not hard to find. Even my son, who usually "gags" at the thought of "healthy food," eats them with relish. I particularly liked the dinner sections; the food is actually satisfying and also light. In a month's time, I lost 6.6 pounds, did not feel tired after I eat, and had excellent test results.
