Fun for both of us
I read this with my son, just to keep him company. Ended up enjoying it myself. The story’s got heart, some laughs, and a cool message. We even talked about it after—rare moment.
A thoughtful and magical story that speaks to readers of all ages.
This is a touching, dynamic, and imaginative adventure, full of unexpected twists, talking creatures, and magic. The tone is light, with touches of humor, but the story also touches on important themes — self-acceptance, fear of death, family, friendship, and making choices. Despite the childlike cover, the writing is neither simplified nor shallow — there are moments of irony, thoughtful reflections, and even hints at philosophical questions: what makes us human? What is true strength? I think it’s a perfect read for teenagers aged 9–14, but it will also appeal to adults who enjoy fantasy and magical worlds
Fun and magical story!
This was such a cute and creative book! I loved the idea of Liam waking up tiny and having to team up with an elf. Their adventure was fun to follow, and the world felt magical and exciting. Great read for anyone who enjoys fantasy with a twist. Perfect for teens or anyone young at heart!
