About the Book
*Before we get into anything, I'd like to give a big shout out to Mr. Burton Gilmore of Sdiggman Designs for my cover!!! * The War of the Wizards is finally over. The Wizards were brutal in enforcing their rule and had come together to bring the entire Kingdom under their rule. For years the populace was subjugated until other powerful magic users rose up along with their non-magical brethren and viciously put down the Wizard threat once and for all.
The Wizards were rounded up and executed in front of their families, only children under a certain age were spared the Headman's axe. Soren was one of those children, forced to watch as their parents and family members were killed as a deterrent to any remaining magic user from attempting to conquer the Nation. The new leaders have done away with Kings, Queens and the rest of the nobility. People are now judged based on their merit instead of birthright.

A Dark and Compelling Fantasy Journey
Wizardborn pulls you straight into a world scarred by war, vengeance, and fear of magic. Soren's story is both tragic and fascinating-haunted by the execution of his family yet powerful enough to shape the future of a fragile new nation. The world-building is rich, the stakes are high, and the tension between magic and justice makes this an engrossing read. Perfect for fans of dark fantasy with complex heroes.
A Powerful Start to a New Fantasy Tale
WizardBorn is a dark and gripping story about the price of magic and survival. The journey of Soren, who endured a brutal past and became the most powerful mage, grabs your attention from the first pages. The post-war world, where magic is forbidden, is vividly and tensely portrayed. The plot is fast-paced, and the characters are engaging — especially Soren himself. He’s not a cliché hero but a complex and believable figure. The book is an easy read, leaving you wanting more—an excellent pick for fans of dark fantasy with depth.
Powerful and Emotional Story. WizardBorn pulled me in from the first page
The world is dark and intense—magic users were nearly wiped out, and the main character, Soren, grows up carrying the trauma of that. What I loved most is how Soren doesn’t become a hero just because people want him to. He chooses his own path, and that makes him feel real. There’s action, politics, and emotion all blended together. It’s not just a fantasy about magic—it’s about survival, power, and healing. Highly recommend for fans of darker fantasy with strong character growth.
