A Gym Rat's Kitchen Bible!
"As someone who tracks every macro and lives for PR days, this book finally bridges the gap between the gym and the kitchen — the meal prep system is an absolute game-changer for anyone serious about body recomposition! The 4-week high-protein meal plan is structured like a training program — zero guesswork, just execute — and the breakdowns on protein needs by activity level (0.6–0.8g per pound of lean body weight) are exactly the science-backed numbers I've been living by. I was skeptical about the dessert section, but the Peanut Butter Chocolate Protein Bars and Protein-Packed Chocolate Mousse are genuinely delicious AND macro-friendly — no more suffering through boring diets!
Informative
I like cookbooks that have a bit of an intro section, especially if im not an expert in the topic. The sections at the front of why protein helps fat loss so much and all the things proten can help, like insulin balance are things i think would definitely come in handy to persons who don't do much research into different foods and benefits. Personally i would have liked a little more polish on the formatting and design, like the sections had an image below the text but it made the text hard to read, so perhaps a little less opacity on the image itself so the text could be much more visible without struggling to read it. And where some of the recipe pages have two recipes on one page, and i can definitely say i would prefer each step on a line of it's own. Otherwise, i enjoyed the book. I'm very much a protein eater myself, and im also trying to keep my weight down, so this gives me a lot of ideas to try out.
