The white rhino is a main bargaining chip that Mayor Coyote Bitterboots of Rift City wants to use against the Empire of Quinta -- trying to impress his former rival Emperor Opal Islewink. Tyler must navigate his feelings about the white rhino, but also his new found place in Quinta.

adventure and cleverness
I absolutely love the fun and creative steampunk setting in this story! The number of eccentric characters - Tyler and Charlotte, and the steam-powered household pet cat called Glitchy, and the politics of the white rhino all contribute to the feeling of adventure and cleverness. I like the idea of putting personal feelings in concert with bigger scale issues in Rift City and Quinta - this adds real layers and depth to the story. This offering is a fun blend of whimsy, tension, and world-building to keep the reader engaged.

A Steampunk Adventure with Heart!
I just finished reading the Ty Turbo Knight Steampunk Variant Omnibus Trilogy and absolutely loved it. The world of Brasstania is so unique and well-developed; I felt completely immersed in this steampunk Earth. The author's creativity shines through in every detail, from the steam-powered gadgets to the intricate political landscape.The characters are what really make this book special. Ty is a relatable protagonist, and it was great to follow his journey as he grapples with his feelings about the mysterious white rhino and his place in the Empire of Quinta. Charlotte Lennox and his robotic cat Glitchy were fantastic companions, adding both humor and heart to the adventure.The plot is a thrilling ride.
