Imaginative Book. Takes you on a journey!
Imaginative book. Takes you on a journey that is surreal and well described by the Author. Not my usual type of book but I enjoyed it all the same - any book that takes you away on a little journey to me is a good one.
Quiet, atmospheric fantasy
I went into The Unconnected Roots expecting a simple fantasy mystery, but it turned out to be more thoughtful and atmospheric than I expected. The forest setting is vivid and slightly unsettling, and the strange tree at the center of the story really stayed with me. The book focuses more on mood and character than fast-paced action, which I personally enjoyed. There are themes about memory and identity that add depth, even if not everything is fully explained. Some parts are a bit abstract, but that seems intentional. Overall, it’s a slow, immersive read. I’d be interested in seeing where the story goes next.
So good.
This book? So good. The vibes were immaculate think dreamcore meets psychological thriller. Some parts had me genuinely going, “Wait, what just happened?” but I was completely hooked the entire time. The twists hit hard, and the haunting forest setting added this eerie, almost surreal layer that stuck with me. It was kind of deep, kind of weird n the absolute best way.
