advantageously simple
I really appreciated this word search activity book. The puzzles are all large print, making the 18 words that are in each puzzle fairly easy to find, even for my aging eyes. The words weren't too simple, though, which as an older adult, I also really appreciated. I also loved that each puzzle was based on peaceful, Biblical themes that strengthened and comforted me. Definitely recommended for older adults or anyone who loves simple, comforting word search puzzles.
Fun screen free past time
This was a fun screen free past time. Some areas I found the text a little too large print and close togethe, but overall it was a good experience. And each puzzle had its own inspirational scripture.
More Than a Puzzle Book. Like Taking Quiet Road Through Scripture
Bible Word Search Extra Large Jumbo Print for Adults & Seniors ministered to me as I worked through it. Scriptures throughout the Bible speak of the importance of meditating on God’s word. A Bible verse is provided at the bottom of each puzzle. Who doesn’t need to be reminded of our need to forgive others? “Forgive, and you will be forgiven” (Luke 6:37) and “Forgive as the Lord forgave you” (Colossians 3:13) are examples of scriptures I meditated on while solving the puzzles. I wasn’t just hunting for words; I was lingering over the truth of scripture as I went.As someone who’s spent a good portion of my life on the road, I’ve learned that I don’t need to have the pedal to the metal all the time. Some stretches of highway are meant to be taken slowly to appreciate the surrounding beauty. This book is like that kind of highway. The extra-large jumbo print is easy on the eyes, which is an extra bonus.
