a great selection of simple, tasty recipes
A nice introductory guide to a diabetic diet, this book provides a lot of helpful information on diabtes management, food choices, lifestyle, and essentioal habits for success. It covers many basic aspects, with four chapters dedicated to the theory of diabetes management. I love the recipes, they are simple and nutritious. From the breakfasts, my favorite is the Zucchini and Herb Frittata, which is truly delicious. I expected a bit more from the desserts, but the Greek Yogurt Chocolate Mousse is really good. The other are fine but nothing particularly exciting, in my humble opinion. The meal plan and shopping list make it easy to follow the diet. I didn't find much use for the measurement conversion chart, as all measurements are already converted. Overall, it's a well-packed guide with plenty of theoretical information and a great selection of simple, tasty recipes.
