My Kid Is Now a Physics Fanatic — And So Am I!
"Just like a great workout routine breaks down big fitness goals into small, achievable reps, this book breaks down complex physics concepts — gravity, motion, energy, waves, and light — into bite-sized, totally digestible lessons that my 10-year-old actually gets and loves! The hands-on experiments are like circuit training for the brain — fast, focused, and seriously fun — turning abstract ideas like Newton's laws and magnetism into real, visible results right on our kitchen table.
A thought provoking book for expanding kids' world
Not standard book that can be recommended to the parents who would like their kids to explore the world from different angles. I was keen on the way everything is talked through, it's simple and engaging, my kids are captivated by the book.
An exceptional publication in an encyclopedic and textbook mix
When I was a boy, much younger than the age this book is intended for, I remember asking my dad why the sky was blue. He said it was blue for the same reason the sea was blue, because it was too high and too deep for us to understand why. The real answer came to me later, at school and in some other books, but after leafing through "Physics Made Easy For Kids" by Jonathan Adams, which I bought as a gift, it seems to me that I have never had the opportunity to read a publication that is better organized than this one.The formatting along with the descriptions are the best features of the book. The photos and illustrations are carefully selected, and each chapter contains a description and definition, an example, an experiment, and additional facts with questions for young curious minds. My only complaint is that the ebook was incompatible with my Kindle Voyage. This is unfortunate, however I believe that the preferred medium for this kind of learning is still paperback books, which I highly recommend.
