Emma Changeling never thought her life living with her two adoptive children, Mark and Valentino, would be normal. They never would have experienced what it's like to be one of the living undead. Nothing was ever going to explain to Emma's husband, Russell Changeling, just how different their life would be after getting a message from their dead granny. Even though the two kids don't want to do anything belonging to Emma her husband's family, they seem to get along with their dead granny. Not long before their thirteenth birthday on Halloween, their life would soon change for the worse. Because it seems the ghost of their dead granny wants to give them a warning not to celebrate their birthday this year. It could make them regret what the spirit of Halloween would threaten to destroy their happy lives.
